The China-Europe Chang'an freight train is further integrating Xi'an into the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
The freight train has already established an international trade channel with high efficiency, low costs and excellent services in the inland area.

On April 18, Xi'an Port became the first inland port in the country to pilot the tax rebate policy at the port of departure, and the freight train has become the first to benefit from the policy.
It now generally takes just two to three days to complete the tax refund, and the efficiency of corporate capital circulation has been improved.
To increase transportation efficiency for small and medium-sized enterprises at Xi'an Port, a consolidation center for the freight train has also been established. The center is located in the port operation area of the Xi'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone and covers an area of about 6,000 square meters.
The booking channel is very convenient for enterprises that want to export products to Europe, Central Asia, and West Asia. Enterprises can book, pay, reconcile, print invoices, and deliver voucher codes online through the official website of the freight train, the WeChat applet or the mobile App.
In addition, the freight train digital financial service platform also provides customers with loans, waybill financing, and electronic bills of lading and can order manifest financing, among other things.
The freight train also supports the development of cross-border e-commerce, of which Xi'an Silk Road E-commerce Co established by Yuan Chaohui is a beneficiary.

"The company has an overseas warehouse and can transport Chinese goods to Kazakhstan via the freight train. People in Kazakhstan can receive the goods in about 10 days (including 6-7 days for transportation, and 3-4 days for local delivery). It provides customers with a good consumption experience," Yuan said.
Xi'an Aiju Grain and Oil Industry Group Co is another beneficiary. The company has imported basic grain and oil products and many edible by-products, such as honey, chocolate, biscuits, and wine, via the freight train.
The company is currently directly cooperating with Kazakhstan, and contract farming has allowed the local planting, processing, and logistics transportation model to form an entire industrial chain for grain and oil commodities.
