A China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) departed from Xi'an International Port Station on July 31, loaded with daily necessities supplied by Shaanxi Guotie Trading Co – on schedule to leave the country via the Manzhouli railway border checkpoint in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and arrive at its destination in Moscow, Russia.

The Xi'an International Port Station is located in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park in the city of Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

This was the first China-Europe freight train operated by Shaanxi Guotie Trading Co since it recently settled in the Xi'an International Port Station.

Shaanxi Guotie Trading Co was established in February 2022. It is mainly involved in international trade, international logistics and cargo warehousing and aims to provide customers with one-stop logistics services. It transports around 230,000 metric tons of goods annually.

The development of the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) assembly center has been vigorously promoted by operator China Railway Xi'an Group Co – which has boosted its capacity and helped transform the Xi'an International Port Station, to provide enterprises with better logistics options.

It has also continued to develop new types of international intermodal transportation business.

From January to June this year, the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an) has made a total of 1,791 trips. It has become a specialist train with the fastest running time, highest level of intelligence, widest shipment range, the most complete service functions and the lowest costs.
