In recent years, Xi'an has fully leveraged its advantages in channels, industries, and foreign trade to promote the construction of a comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, taking cross-border e-commerce development to new heights.

The Xi'an Cross-border E-commerce Service Center and Association have been established by the city to provide comprehensive assistance to companies in expanding their marketing reach globally, fulfilling their procurement needs, and establishing their own brand identities.

Also, the city has actively promoted the improvement of supporting facilities for cross-border e-commerce, opening the first TIR international cross-border road freight route in the province and implementing 7x24 customs clearance operations.

Since the beginning of this year, the volume of international inbound goods at the Shaanxi Cross-border E-commerce International Mail Industry Park has grown by over 40 percent.

Overseas warehouses have been strategically built by the city in North America, Europe, and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Currently, the city has 44 various types of overseas warehouses, with a total construction area of 341,900 square meters, covering services of logistics distribution, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.

In addition, nine universities in Xi'an have established cross-border e-commerce majors, which can annually cultivate nearly 1,000 professional talents.
