Since the fourth session of the 16th Xi'an Municipal People's Congress, the Standing Committee of Xi'an Municipal People's Congress has focused its work on strengthening environmental protection, improving and optimizing the business environment, and contributing to epidemic prevention and control.

This year, the standing committee will conduct a unified clean-up of the current local regulations, formulate regulations on household waste classification management, and organize key legislative investigations on production safety and historical and cultural protection.

In addition, regarding those pressing and difficult issues which concern citizens, it will quickly deal with public suggestions and actively respond to the public's concerns.
