As of 10 pm on May 17, the deadline for deputies to submit motions, the secretariat of the fifth session of the 16th Xi'an Municipal People's Congress had received a total of 387 motions, criticisms and opinions.

During the session, deputies fulfilled their duties with enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility, focusing on the pressing and difficult issues of the city's economic and social development and people's livelihoods.

The motions, criticisms and opinions included aspects of epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production, Qinling Mountain protection, rural revitalization, household garbage sorting, educational development, property management, and community construction.

After the session, the motions will be handed over to relevant agencies and organizations for research and processing in accordance with relevant regulations, and the results will then be returned to deputies within the legal period.
