It is estimated that there will be more than 13,000 athletes, technical officials and media reporters in the National Games Village during the event, as well as thousands of staff members. The workload of nucleic acid testing is set to be very large.
In order to facilitate nucleic acid testing for all people, 11 fixed testing sites in various sections of the village have been set up.
The collected samples will be sent to a laboratory located outside the National Games Village every hour, to improve the efficiency of nucleic acid testing. From sampling to test results, it will take up to six hours.
From Aug 20 to 28, the nucleic acid testing site at the National Games Village had tested a total of 4,055 tubes some 40,103 times, without a single case of abnormality.
