It is a comprehensive city park that integrates natural rivers, mountain scenery and water scenery. The park has seven functional areas: a riverside, lake, wetland, sports facilities, a special garden, flower valley and farming area.

As the park with the widest coverage of landscape elements in Chang'an district, it aims to improve the regional environment and build "green lungs" in the south of the city.

Designers have created two landscape corridors. One is waterscape corridor themed by river, lake and wetland, while the other is a mountain landscape corridor formed by park highlands.

In order to meet the needs of different tourists, four special routes have been set up in the park. A slow walking trail around lake creates a beautiful path; a tram tour route provides convenience for visiting special corners of the landscape; a bicycle sports route allows tourists to experience the charms of cycling; and a water tour route shows tourists the scenery on both sides of the Yuhe River.

Officials said that in addition, the park will achieve full wifi coverage and also come equipped with an infrared alarm system, an intelligent parking management system and a comprehensive security system.
