Water quality

The municipality's river water pollution level was reduced, with the overall pollution index dropping by 4.1 percent compared to the previous year.

Xinhe River, Zaohe River, Linhe River, Haohe River, Yuhe River, Jinghe River, Taiping River, Shichuan River, Chanhe River, Laohe River, Weihe River, Fenghe River, Heihe River and Bahe River.

26 of the cross-sections for river water quality monitoring reached the national standard, according to the criteria of water environment functions.

100 percent of drinking water sources reached standard quality.

Outdoor noise

The level of environmental noise was stable in 2020, although a few areas were affected by construction noise and vehicle noise. According to international criteria, four of the five functional areas met the daytime noise standard, while one passed the nighttime noise standard.
