Xi'an Center for Disease Control and Prevention recently adjusted emergency vaccination work for the COVID-19 epidemic for people planning to go abroad and it identified five vaccination clinics.

The five vaccination centers are the Xi'an Aerospace General Hospital vaccination clinic, the Taiyi Road Community Health Service Center, the vaccination clinic of Xi'an No 3 Hospital, Xi'an XD Group Hospital and the Xi'an People's Hospital (Xi'an Fourth Hospital).

Vaccination appointments should be made by telephone from 9 am-11:30 am and 2 pm-5:30 pm on work days.

The vaccine requires two injections, with an interval of two to four weeks. It is recommended to get the first injection at least one month before going abroad.

Under the emergency vaccination work plan, people who get inoculated against the disease should be 18 to 59 years of age. The vaccine should not be given to pregnant women and those who have fever and acute illness.

They are also required to provide relevant identification documents and copies which can prove that they have a real need to go abroad in the near future or are people from abroad or from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
