27-year-old Jung Cheng-yi is from Busan of South Korea and he decided to have a try in China after he was deeply impressed by the fast growth speed and great changes of China in the hit documentary film Super China back in 2015.

Before his arrival in Xi’an, Jung has been to nearly 20 provinces and cities of China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang and Hubei. At the end of 2016, he chose to visit Xi’an. “After visits to so many other places in China, I think Xi’an is the one that suits me most,” said Jung, adding that he loves the history and food of Xi’an and loves the hospitable Xi’an people more. He believes that in Xi’an he can find the sense of security and sense of belonging he wants.

During his study for master degree of economics at Northwest Polytechnical University based in Xi’an, he was impressed by the good momentum and positive business environment of the city and decided to take the opportunity to do something great. On April 19 this year, Jung registered a company named Xi’an Earnest and Sincerity Consulting Co., Ltd. with Beilin Sub-bureau of Xi’an Municipal Industrial and Commercial Administration.

“Before I made the application for registration, I was worried that as a foreigner I don’t understand the laws and regulations of China, even the documents in Chinese for registration I could not fully understand, however, all these problems have been solved without any difficulty.” With the help of the workers of the authority, Jung made his application on site with a mobile phone and received the business license in 20 minute’s time. Deeply moved by the service awareness and work efficiency, Jung later sent a specially-made silk banner of honor to the Beilin Sub-bureau of Xi’an Municipal Industrial and Commercial Administration.
