The sweltering weather could hardly stop the patrols and visits of Italian police officers in the world famous streets or blocks of Xi’an that combine ancient history and new fashion; the short stay had made the friendship amid members of the Italian and Chinese joint police patrol teams that crosses national boundaries; the hospitality of local residents, Italian overseas students and visitors to Xi’an, as well as exchanges and learning of police modernization will be placed in the depth of the memory of the police officers concerned forever. On July 28, “Xi’an Leg” of the Sino-Italian Joint Police Patrol concluded and when asked about their feelings of the patrol work in Xi’an, two Italian police officers said “Xi’an is really amazing!” in the Xi’an dialect that they learnt during the work.
