China-US Public Transport Clean Technology Round Table Held in Xi'an

On the morning of September 27, 2016, China-US Public Transport Clean Technology Round Table, sponsored by Embassy of the United States in China, was held in Wyndham Grand Xi'an Hotel.

Present and attending the Round Table included David H. Rank,Deputy Chief of Mission of U.S. Embassy in Beijing and commercial officers of the Embassy, Deputy Director Qiang Sheng of Xi'an Municipal FAO and OCAO, Deputy Director Li Binke of the Municipal Bureau of Transport, leaders from the Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, the Municipal Public Transport General Company, Shaanxi Automobiles Group, Xi'an Jinlong Company, and delegation members from US companies including Cummins, Alison and Woodward.

After delivering speeches by leaders of both parties, the attendants carried out presentations and discussions concerning energy conservancy, emission reduction, low energy and environment friendly and concerning the introduction of latest technologies into the public transport sector.The Round   Table was carried out in a friendly atmosphere, and through presentations and discussions, both parties improved communication, enhanced exchanges, which provided a good platform for cooperation in public transport clean technologies between China and its foreign parties.
