The Impressions of an Evolving Metropolis, Foreigners' Themed Tour event was launched in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 20.
During the five-day event, the expats from the United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil, Venezuela, Guatemala and other countries are set to have a memorable time in Xi'an, having kicked off with a look at the Yisu Grand Theater.

They are all video creators with many fans on platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram and Bilibili, and have lived in Xi'an for several years.
The event happens to coincide with the Ninth China Qin Opera Art Festival which is ongoing in Xi'an and will wind up on June 24.
At the launch ceremony, a performance of a classic Qin Opera excerpt Hanging Paintings was seen to leave a deep impression on the visitors.

The expats also tried on Qin Opera makeup at the Yisu Grand Theater. "It was my first time to experience Qin Opera makeup. After nearly an hour of it being applied, I saw a new me in the mirror. I really wanted to go on the stage and perform immediately," said Rafael, from Venezuela.
On June 21, they also felt the charms of intangible cultural heritage in Beilin district of the city, such as color modeling, cotton wool drawing, the art of long-mouth pot tea pouring, and puppet shows.
Next, they will go to Weiyang, Gaoling and Yanta districts and Xixian New Area to learn about Xi'an in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, industrial development, cultural tourism and business services.
They will also record everything they hear, see and feel during the events on video to share with their fans.
