The stadium and warm-up field of Xi'an Olympic Sports Center has been recently certified by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) as a first-level venue, achieving the highest standards for IAAF venue construction.
Xi'an Olympic Sports Center is located in Xi'an International Trade and Logistic (ITL) Park, Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province. It will serve as the main venue for the 14th National Games in 2021.

It is the first venue in Shaanxi province and Northwest China to obtain this certification.
In terms of qualifications, the center can host world-class track and field events.
Construction on the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center stadium officially started on Oct 9, 2017, and the center covers an area of 152,000 square meters. The structure was completed and passed its acceptance check on June 23, 2020.
With 60,000 seats, the stadium is equipped with an international-standard 400-meter integrated track and field area, nine circular runways and an international-standard football field.

At present, the construction of 51 competition venues has been completed in the province for the 14th National Games, and the remaining two non-competition venues are currently under development.
In ITL Park, construction is ramping up on roads and supporting facilities around the National Games Village and the stadium.
