A total of 50 couples participated in the event, including nurses and doctors, public security officers, community workers, logistics and distribution staff members.
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, they delayed their marriages and decided to join the fight against the epidemic, insisting they stay at their posts.
Ding Ning, a surgeon from the urology department of Xi'an Gaoxin Hospital, and Han Zengwei, a nurse from the blood purification center of Xi'an Gaoxin Hospital, are one of the couples.

Their wedding was originally planned to be held at the beginning of the year, but Ding Ning went to Wuhan to help fight the epidemic, and their ceremony was delayed. Han Zengwei, who remained in Xi'an, also stayed at the front line of medical work.
The group wedding showed a high level of respect to the couples who insisted on fighting against the epidemic. It is hoped their dedicated spirit in times of crisis will lead more young people to be courageous and responsible.
