Among the city's 33 greenway projects related to the Weihe, Bahe and Chanhe rivers and Qinling Mountains, construction on three has been basically completed. The development of the remaining 30 is progressing in an orderly manner.

The greenway construction of the Bahe River section in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park is an important supporting facility for the 14th National Games. It will help to create a positive image of Xi'an during the event.

At present, the greenway's construction is progressing smoothly and is expected to be fully completed by the end of the month.

This year, Xi'an will further increase river governance and river and lake management and protection. It will promote the continuous improvement of the appearance of rivers and lakes.

Meanwhile, the city will build and expand 12 sewage plants, upgrade and renovate six sewage plants, build six sludge plants and increase the supervision of sludge disposal enterprises. The goal is to ensure that enterprises dispose of sewage and sludge follow laws and regulations.
