Xi'an launches recruitment festival for overseas returned talents

The Fourth China Xi'an Overseas Returned Talent Recruitment Festival was launched in Qujiang New District in Xi'an, capital city of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Aug 27, and will last for four days.

It aims to create a high-quality environment for overseas returned talents to learn about Xi'an, and provide favorable services for them to develop their innovation and entrepreneurship in the city.

On Aug 28, representatives of overseas returned talents were invited to visit key enterprises in Xi'an, to get a better understanding of Xi'an's employment environment and talent needs.

A career development exchange meeting was also held on the day. It provided a more accurate, efficient, and high-quality interactive platform for exchanges and learning for overseas returned talents to find jobs in Xi'an, through the promotion of well-known companies.

A cycling friendship race will be launched on Aug 29, showing off Xi'an city's historical and cultural heritage and charm to those talents, and providing another opportunity for dialogue.

What's more, a special job fair for Xi'an overseas returned talents will take place on Aug 30. It plans to provide more than 1,600 job positions in the fields of aviation, materials and chemicals, construction, automobiles, electronic technology, biology, and finance.

At the job fair, there will also be a policy consulting service area and a career development evaluation and guidance area to provide policy publicity and public welfare consulting services.

The online job fair for overseas returned talents has been launched from Aug 24 to 30 on www.haorc.com. Those who cannot participate at the on-site job fair can log in the website to view recruitment information, and hand their resumes online.
