The X8151 China-Europe freight train, loaded with daily necessities, auto parts, and cosmetics, departed from Xi'an Guogang Railway Station for Duisburg, Germany, on March 3.

It was the 600th China-Europe freight train to depart from Xi'an this year, reflecting a significant increase in operations.

China Railway Xi'an Group Co, the operator of the freight train, has been actively enhancing efficiency and reducing costs through a comprehensive optimization initiative. By refining procedures in demand reception, loading, and dispatch, it has reduced the cost of return trips by 20 percent and improved train assembly efficiency by 52.9 percent.

With logical scheduling and efficient coordination, Xi'an Guogang Railway Station has ensured the optimal operation of trains. On Feb 28, a record-breaking 24 freight trains departed from the station within a single day, averaging one train per hour.

As the first station in China to surpass 25,000 total train departures, Xi'an Guogang Railway Station now operates 18 international routes and connects 26 domestic gathering lines, covering major Eurasian freight hubs.

To enhance operational efficiency, the station has introduced an intelligent service management system, integrating real-time vehicle identification, cargo monitoring, and automated data sharing.

China Railway Xi'an Group Co has also utilized internet of things and artificial intelligence technologies for centralized command, predictive monitoring, and rapid emergency response. As a result, border transshipment time in Kazakhstan has been reduced from two to three days to just three hours.

Moving forward, China Railway Xi'an Group Co plans to strengthen partnerships and further expand train operations, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness in global trade logistics.
