With continuous technological breakthroughs and increasingly widespread application, 2025 is regarded as the "first year of mass production" for humanoid robots. Xi'an, a millennia-old ancient capital, competes in this future industry with its technological strength and innovative vitality.
Inside the workshop of Shaanxi Vihero Robot Technology Co, the third-generation humanoid robot Xiaowei stands out among the neatly arranged devices. Its shoulders, elbows, and knees are designed with biomimetic joints, and the arm's load capacity can reach five kilograms, making it easy to complete tasks such as grasping and carrying.

In an office in Beilin University-based Innovation Industrial District, Professor Zhu Yaguang from Chang'an University leads a busy team, working tirelessly to transform scientific research achievements into products. His team has achieved fruitful results, owning multiple intellectual property rights in special mobile robot operation platforms, high-power density joint motors, industrial automation robots, and digital twin remote control systems.
In 2024, the Concept Validation Fund of Xi'an invested in the team's robot project. It helped them register a company in the Xi'an Innovation Design Center, Xi'an Yunhe Intelligent Robot Co, to accelerate product development.
As an important science and education center in western China, Xi'an has numerous universities and research institutes and has trained many outstanding talents. These talents are fresh blood, constantly injected into Xi'an's humanoid robot industry, providing intellectual support for its development and ensuring that Xi'an runs with momentum in this "marathon" of the robot industry.
