The 2025 Xi'an International Theatre Festival for Children, which will take place from April to June, has opened submissions for its online cloud theater section.

The Xi'an International Theatre Festival for Children has held nine editions and is a key platform for cultural exchange. It fosters connections between outstanding domestic and international theatrical productions and has significantly contributed to the growth of children's theater, especially in western China.
This year, the festival will combine online and offline performances to showcase the latest achievements in Chinese children's theater. Through outstanding productions, it aims to highlight the vibrant and positive spirit of today's youth.

The festival's primary online showcase, the cloud theater section, will feature high-quality children's plays on digital platforms from April 30 to May 5, bringing exceptional performances to audiences nationwide.
Submissions are now open to theater groups. Eligible productions should be uplifting, diverse in content and form, and capable of reflecting the spirit of contemporary children. Applicants must hold the copyright for their productions.
The submission deadline is March 19. The organizers look forward to enriching this year's festival and providing audiences with exceptional theatrical experiences.
