The 2025 Men's and Women's Volleyball Nations League will be held in June and July across multiple countries. On Dec 10, Volleyball World announced the schedule and host cities. The men's league will kick off from June 11 to 15, with the first round hosted in Quebec, Canada, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Xi'an, China.

This marks Xi'an's second major volleyball event following the 2023 Paris Olympic Qualifiers, further solidifying its status as a leading sports destination.

The Volleyball Nations League, launched in 2018, is a premier international tournament showcasing the world's top teams. In 2025, the number of teams will expand from 16 to 18 for men's and women's leagues. Each team will play 12 matches across three group stages, with the top-ranked teams advancing to the finals in late July or early August.

Xi'an's hosting underscores the city's commitment to becoming a "world-class sports event hub". Preparations are underway to ensure top-tier facilities and hospitality for players and fans.

With its rich history and sports-loving community, Xi'an is poised to host an unforgettable tournament that will unite volleyball enthusiasts worldwide.
