The Macao Week in Shaanxi · Xi'an is underway from Aug 22 to 26 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, bringing a fresh cultural and tourism event to the local people.

The event includes a variety of exciting activities. A 13-day food promotion event has begun at the W Hotel in Xi'an, allowing locals to experience Macao through its cuisine.

Starting Aug 22, a large-scale five-day exhibition will be held from 5 pm until 11 pm at the Qujiang Pool Relic Park, showcasing the charm of Macao's tourism offerings.

Macao will offer Xi'an residents more than 38 million yuan ($5.33 million) worth of tourism discounts, including discounts on flights, hotel stays, and dining. These discounts are available for purchase at the exhibition venue and related platforms.

One key aspect of Macao Week is to promote investment between Xi'an and Macao, so two business matchmaking and promotion events will be held.

Three exhibition and sales areas will be set up, showcasing various products related to Macao manufacturing, Macao brands, and products from Portuguese-speaking countries.
