An employment service activity hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions was launched in Northwest China's Shaanxi province on March 9 to help companies resume operations.

The event consists of three parts: a launching ceremony, an online job fair, and a livestreaming activity. Relying on the app of the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the self-employment service platform of trade unions at all levels, the event will build a talent recruitment platform for various employers free of charge.

It will also provide jobs for migrant workers, workers laid off due to overcapacity, college and university graduates, people with employment difficulties, and members of zero-employment families.

As the main venue, Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, held a livestreaming activity to introduce job positions.

During the livestream, recruitment leaders from five companies were invited to introduce positions, salaries and benefits and answer questions from job seekers in the live broadcast room.

On the day, 2,305 domestic labor enterprises participated in the employment service activity, including 388 State-owned enterprises, 1,569 private enterprises, 348 micro, and small and medium-sized enterprises. A total of 98,545 jobs were provided.

Moving forward, trade unions at all levels in the province will regularly hold online and offline job fairs in different industries as well as employment skills training activities.
