The city has continued to increase its financial support, adjust and improve the guarantee loan policy for entrepreneurs, to achieve full coverage of all types of entrepreneurs.

Since 2020, 1.04 billion yuan in guaranteed loans for entrepreneurship has been issued, including 180 million yuan to registered unemployed persons and 200 million yuan to rural surplus labor.

In addition, during the period, 69,914 people have enjoyed the unemployment insurance expansion policy and 62,276 people have been granted unemployment subsidies of 342 million yuan; meanwhile 2,386 migrant workers have also been granted temporary living allowances of 3.14 million yuan.

Moving forwards, Xi'an will continue to implement its employment priority policy and focus on key groups to stabilize employment. It will move to boost the vitality of its small, medium and micro enterprises and try to improve its employment levels further.

It is expected that no less than 140,000 new jobs will be created in urban areas during the current year, while the registered unemployment rate will be controlled within 4.5 percent.
