The "Chinese Bridge" American students' summer camp concluded at the Yanta Campus of Xi'an International Studies University on June 10, with 35 students and teachers from Utah, the United States, along with representatives from the university and some camp teachers and volunteers, attending.
During the closing ceremony, Chinese and American students showcased a diverse array of talents, making the event both educational and entertaining and serving as the climax for this summer camp.

The ceremony commenced with a performance of traditional Shaanxi martial arts by the university students, including demonstrations of swordplay, cudgel techniques, and boxing that garnered applause and admiration from the audience.
The American students then presented a tai chi fan routine, showcasing a blend of softness and strength with precision and uniformity.
Following this, the American students donned paper-cutting costumes created by Yang Caixia, the inheritor of Huxian paper-cutting art, and staged a unique and innovative paper-cutting fashion show.

During the speech and sharing session, the American teachers expressed gratitude for the rich and unique study-abroad program arranged by the university, allowing American students to better understand and appreciate China.
The "Chinese Bridge" American students' summer camp is the first group of American students hosted by the university since 2020.
During the camp, visits were organized to various historical sites and popular attractions in Xi'an, such as the Xi'an City Wall, the Bell and Drum towers, the Xi'an Museum, Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, and the Grand Tang Mall.
