The ceremony commenced with a performance of traditional Shaanxi martial arts by the university students, including demonstrations of swordplay, cudgel techniques, and boxing that garnered applause and admiration from the audience.

The American students then presented a tai chi fan routine, showcasing a blend of softness and strength with precision and uniformity.

Following this, the American students donned paper-cutting costumes created by Yang Caixia, the inheritor of Huxian paper-cutting art, and staged a unique and innovative paper-cutting fashion show.
