University opens 6 research institutes

Xi'an Eurasia University in Xi'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi province held a news release for its six new research institutes on Nov 24.

They include the Institute of Quality Management, Institute of Education and Innovation, Shaanxi Institute of New Media in Education, Institute of Digital Research, Institute of Urban Organic Renewal, Institute of Culture and Brand Development, and Institute of Property Research.

The research institutes will reportedly promote university-government and university-enterprise cooperation, and will bolster the sci-tech innovation capabilities of teaching faculties.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials from the university, as well as representatives from Microsoft, iFLYTEK, and other enterprises.

Hu Jianbo, chairman of the university, said at the ceremony that the mission of the institutes is to change the society, city, community and people's lives through the power of knowledge.
