The ward relies on wireless, smart and wearable patient life data collection devices and a perioperative monitoring system, jointly developed by Xijing Hospital and other enterprises.

It can monitor and protect important organ functions by collecting preoperative baseline data, and collecting and transmitting intraoperative real-time hemodynamics, respiratory mechanics indices, body temperatures and anesthesia depth indices.

Surgery patients can wear the wireless smart devices after surgery, and can automatically monitor and record their basic vital signs, activities and sleep condition without affecting normal activities.
