Xi'an International Medical Investment Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Northwest University (NWU) on May 24, a day which also saw the Xi’an International Medical Center Hospital, affiliated to NWU, unveiled.

The two sides will cooperate in the fields of medical technology services, teaching and research reforms, and in the establishment of a high-level talent training system, exploring new models of collaborative medical and educational talent training, scientific research and academic innovation.

In 2019, NWU was successfully approved for the undergraduate major in clinical medicine. It is believed that the newly-unveiled hospital will contribute to the coordinated development of regional medicine, education, and research.

It will also optimize provincial and municipal medical and health resources, and serve the country and Shaanxi's economic, social, and health development.
