Xi'an No 1 Hospital
Established in 1941, the Xi'an No 1 Hospital (the First Affiliated Hospital of Northwest University) was a Grade-III Class-A comprehensive hospital directly under the Xi'an Health and Family Planning Commission. It has a floor space of 30,000 square meters and 700 beds. It has two branches - Xi'an Ophthalmology Hospital, and Xi'an Cardiovascular Hospital, and 64 clinical medical and medical detection departments. There are more than 1,600 employees, including more than 300 personnel with senior professional titles and more than 300 personnel with doctor and master's degrees.
Its ophthalmology department (Xi'an Ophthalmology Hospital) is a key medical discipline in Shaanxi province and Xi'an City, and is now a domestic-leading modernized ophthalmology specialty hospital integrating medicine, teaching and research in the western region.
Xi'an Eye Bank affiliated to the Xi'an No 1 Hospital is the earliest and largest eye bank in the western region. It has established friendly relations with Sri Lanka International Eye Bank, American International Eye Bank and Seattle Eye Bank, and was supported by the Shaanxi Charity Association and the Shaanxi Branch of the Red Cross Society of China in corneal donation.
Its department of cardiovascular diseases (Xi'an Cardiovascular Hospital) is a key clinical specialty in Shaanxi province and a key discipline in Xi'an. There are five wards, a CCU ward, a cardiac intervention room and a cardiovascular disease research room.
