Xi'an No 4 Hospital
The Xi'an No 4 Hospital is a hospital with a history of 100 years. Founded in 1889, it is the first Western medicine hospital in the northwest region. It was formerly known as "Guangren Hospital" and was renamed "Xi'an No 4 Hospital" after the founding of New China.
As a comprehensive Grade-III Class-A hospital, the hospital now has 800 beds, and more than 2,000 employees, among which there are more than 500 health workers with medium and senior titles, more than 296 master and doctoral students, and seven experts and professors enjoying special allowances from the State Council. The average annual outpatients are more than a million, the number of inpatients is more than 48,000, and the number of annual operations is 37,000.
Its ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynaecology, child health, reproductive medicine, and kidney medicine departments are key disciplines and specialties in Shaanxi and Xi'an.
