Xi'an Honghui Hospital
Xi'an Hoghui Hospital, founded in 1911, is the earliest public hospital in Xi'an. In as early as the 1980s, it was praised as one of the "three major orthopedic centers". At present, it has 1,312 beds, including 1,000 beds for orthopedics, three intermediate hospitals, five diagnosis and treatment centers, 51 clinical departments. It is also a three-level first-class comprehensive hospital with coexistence of multiple disciplines, integrating medicine, education, research and rehabilitation, with the orthopedics department as the national key clinical specialty. There are more than 600,000 outpatients and 40,000 operations per year. The patients come from 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. It is known as "orthopedic aircraft carrier in western China".
The hospital has 12 orthopedic specialties and 22 wards. There are 21 clinical departments and 15 medical and technical departments, in addition to 27 administrative and logistical services departments.
There are 1,921 employees in the hospital, including 1,672 medical technicians, 290 experts with senior professional titles, more than 40 doctors and tutors with master's degrees. The number of submissions and speeches at the National Orthopedics Academic Conference ranks first and more than 20 speakers attend influential international academic conferences in Europe and America every year. The first World Orthopedics Congress, the Xi'an International Orthopedics Masters Forum and the International Orthopedics Summit Forum have been successfully held in Xi'an. More than 30 world-class experts, including Nobel laureates, have been recruited as visiting professors to the hospital.
