Eight international content creators, media professionals, and travel influencers from Pakistan, Brazil, the United States, Russia, Italy, Tunisia, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia visited Xi'an on Sept 15 during the "Global Storytellers Trace Sanqin and Feel Shaanxi" cultural exchange trip, experiencing the city's unique mix of antiquity and modernity.

At the Han Yangling Museum, the group visited the underground site exhibition hall to view Han Dynasty (206 BC–220) remains up close. Pakistani blogger Asif Zeb was amazed by the well-preserved historical relics. He said, "I have travelled to many countries around the world, yet I have never seen a site like this. This is my first time in Xi'an, and it's an incredibly unique experience."
The event featured an immersive hanfu (traditional attire of the Han Chinese) experience. The delegates donned traditional hanfu with exquisite patterns, giving them the chance to appreciate the unique aesthetic charm and rich meaning behind the traditional Chinese attire.
The group also visited the Xi'an City Wall. Brazilian scholar and photographer Thales Saque said that it was remarkable that today people can still stroll atop the ancient wall built more than 1,400 years ago. "Xi'an is a city where tradition and modernity coexist, and also a city of culture and education, where historic heritage, technological advances, and modern features all converge," he said.

The trip left delegates with a strong impression of Xi'an. They said they will release original content including short videos and images on domestic and overseas platforms to tell Shaanxi stories and boost cultural exchanges between China and the world.
