On Aug 11, the 5th annual food-themed night carnival, "Chang'an Night · My Night", hosted by the Xi'an municipal administration of culture and tourism, kicked off at Yongxingfang, a street in Xi'an known for its tasty food.

The event offered a compelling cultural journey for locals and tourists with parades, food exploration, and interactive and static displays.
Live-streaming foodies took viewers deep into the world of renowned heritage food stores, showcasing the craftsmanship behind specialty snacks. Viewers engaged in Q&A sessions with fellow netizens and were invited to partake in on-site experiences.

The event featured a check-in activity, where participants could earn custom prizes by completing specific challenges within Yongxingfang. From the south gate of Yongxingfang, visitors followed a designated route, sampling delicacies like Tongguan roujiamo, or Chinese hamburgers, and Chang'an rose rice cake, culminating in a challenge at the Shuaiwanjiu area.

The night carnival also unveiled 60 food stalls across four categories: popular night markets, extraordinary time-honored brands, exquisite Shaanxi cuisine, and authentic local snacks.
