Xi'an Museum is set to transform into a summer hotspot after extending its opening hours on Aug 7-31.

The museum will operate daily from 8 am to 9:30 pm (ticket check stops at 8:30 pm) and remain closed on Tuesdays. The new hours are part of the museum's efforts to empower urban development and offer a more accessible leisure destination for locals.
Visitors can reserve tickets through Xi'an Museum's WeChat account, website, the Meituan app, or the Dianping app. Ticket reservations are updated daily at 6 pm for the upcoming seven days. Travel agencies can make group reservations via the museum's official website.
The museum's permanent exhibitions include "Ancient Xi'an", while special displays feature majestic Chang'an buddhas from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and temporary exhibitions showcase treasures of Armenian culture from the 18th to 20th century, along with various interactive games.
During the night opening, an additional 3,000 tickets are available daily. Visitors must enter through the gates by scanning their ID cards according to their reserved time slot.
