The third litchi cultural festival of Huaqing Palace kicked off in front of the scenic area's Wangjing Gate on June 15. Huaqing Palace is located in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

At the Wangjing Gate, the magnificent Tang Dynasty (618-907) welcoming ceremony greeted the arrival of litchi envoys from the Lingnan region, which encompasses South China's Guangdong province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, showcasing the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty to visitors.

Visitors could engage in activities such as poetry exchanges, stamp collecting, and Tang Dynasty pot throwing while enjoying immersive Tang Dynasty interactive performances.
