Xi'an's major attractions launch series of activities over May Day holiday

During this year's May Day holiday on May 1-5, major scenic spots in Xi'an will launch a series of rich, diverse, and unique holiday-themed activities.

Huaqing Palace Scenic Area

From 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm on May 1-5, at the Muhua Shuiqing Gate of Huaqing Palace, individuals who can independently recite the full text of the Song of Everlasting Sorrow will receive a recitation card, which can be exchanged for a free ticket to the scenic area.

Exciting performances will also be staged, recreating the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

Bailuyuan Studios

To create a joyful and harmonious holiday atmosphere for visitors, Bailuyuan Studios will host its first tourism and culture festival of 2024 during the holiday, featuring more than 30 activities, including dances, light shows, and large-scale live music magic shows.

Xi'an Expo Park

From 10 am to 5 pm during the holiday, visitors will be able to take pictures at Meichen Square and receive gifts.

In addition, an ink painting exhibition will be held at the park, the Natural Strange Stone Culture Museum will display holiday-themed exhibits, and the Children's Pet Pavilion Square will host a market.

Shijingli Town

Starting from May 1, visitors wearing hanfu will be able to enjoy a special ticket price of 19.9 yuan for the Shijingli Town. They will also have the opportunity to compete for the title of Flower God.

Tang Paradise

Over the holiday period, four Tang-Dynasty-themed dance dramas will be staged at Tang Paradise.

In addition, the scenic area will host a variety of spring-themed performances, allowing visitors to appreciate the dancers' graceful movements against the backdrop of the spring scenery.
