Mausoleum site museum launches service platform

The Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum launched its overseas integration service platform on April 3.

Starting on the day, visitors from 39 countries and regions across the world can use their local currencies to purchase tickets for the museum online through the platform's overseas visitor ticket purchasing channel.

Furthermore, the platform also supports payments through international cards such as Visa and Mastercard. Currently, the platform supports 24 languages and 29 currencies.

The platform was developed through a collaboration among the museum, Ctrip Group, and the Shaanxi Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, enabling online ticket booking and payment for overseas visitors.

Additionally, by leveraging Ctrip Group's offline stores, the museum has established a miniature digital museum.

Zhou Ping, vice director of the museum, stated that the platform commenced trial operation on March 20. As of now, over 2,000 overseas visitors have made reservations for visits through the platform.

As a globally renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum has always been a sought-after destination for tourists worldwide. In 2023, the museum received a total of 11.22 million visits, the highest visitor total since its establishment.
