The Xi'an Museum of Scientists opened in Fengdong New City, Xixian New Area in Northwest China's Shaanxi province on Feb 22, the day the unveiling ceremony of the Xi'an Society Wisdom Creation Park of Innovation China was held.

Xixian New Area is a national development zone co-built by the cities of Xi'an and Xianyang in Shaanxi province.

Located in the Xi'an Society Wisdom Creation Park of Innovation China, the Xi'an Museum of Scientists is the first of its kind in Northwest China. It is meant to promote national and regional scientific and technological development, strengthen the scientific spirit, and serve as a platform for showcasing scientific and technological achievements.

The museum displays the Innovation China brand, academicians in Shaanxi, the history of scientific and technological development in China, and the process of finding practical applications for scientific and technological achievements.

The achievements and products of more than 20 science and technology manufacturing enterprises and universities have been displayed in the museum so far. The first batch of more than 10 scientific and technological achievements and more than 30 intelligent manufacturing, electronic information and other products have been exhibited.

While providing a platform for communication, learning and cooperation for the practical application of scientific and technological achievements and the promotion of science and technology, the museum allow children to learn about and develop an interest in science and scientists.
