Two global hotel brands debut in Xi'an

Two renowned global hotel brands are poised to make their first appearance in China, selecting Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, as their entry point.

Hilton's luxury brand, LXR Hotels & Resorts, will establish its first Chinese property in Qujiang New District.

Scheduled to open in 2027, Xi'an LXR Hotel & Resort will combine exceptional international standards with the city's rich historical charm. It will offer a personalized travel experience steeped in Xi'an's cultural traditions.

Situated near the iconic Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Da Ci'en Temple Heritage Park, the hotel allows guests to explore ancient landmarks while enjoying modern conveniences like shopping, dining, and entertainment in the surrounding area.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has introduced its luxury brand, Registry Collection Hotels, to China with a new property in Fengdong New City of Xixian New Area. The 12,000-square-meter hotel will feature 116 upscale rooms and amenities, including a spa, fitness center, swimming pool, and whiskey bar.

It is expected to open in December 2025 and aims to elevate the hospitality experience and boost the area's commercial appeal.

These landmark projects not only represent significant milestones for both hotel groups but also enhance Xi'an's profile as a hub for international luxury hospitality and urban development.
