The alloy contact matrix (ACM) battery project of LONGi Green Energy Technology Co has entered mass production at its manufacturing base in Xi'an's Xixian New Area, marking a milestone in the large-scale commercialization of LONGi's new-generation battery technology.

LONGi's R&D team has achieved multiple core breakthroughs in ACM battery materials, manufacturing processes, and production equipment after nearly a decade of investment.
The company's ACM battery has attained an efficiency of 27.6 percent as certified by the Institute for Solar Energy Research in Hamelin, and has reached an output power of 672 watts, verified by TUV Rheinland.
The ACM technology boosts mass production conversion efficiency by 0.2 to 0.3 percent and module output power by 3 to 5 watts, achieving industry-leading stability and reliability.

Li Zhenguo, founder and chief technology officer of LONGi, said that the company has built a full-chain intellectual property system centering on ACM technology, covering core materials, manufacturing processes, and equipment adaptation. The company will further deepen supply chain collaboration to consolidate its leading technological edge in the follow-up work.
Relying on LONGi, Xixian New Area has built a complete photovoltaic industrial chain, covering silicon wafers, solar cells, modules, and manufacturing equipment, driven by scenario-based applications, injecting green momentum into high-quality regional development.
