The Visit to International Organizations and Expansion for Overseas Services for Enterprises in Xi'an was held on Aug 25, with more than 30 enterprise representatives from various sectors visiting the city's well‑known foreign‑related organizations to learn about policy dividends, consult cross‑border service procedures, and connect with international trade resources to seize opportunities in the global market.

The first stop was the Kazakhstan Xi'an Terminal, one of the key cooperation outcomes of the first China‑Central Asia Summit and a landmark project for China-Kazakhstan joint development under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the terminal's construction journey and the robust momentum of China-Kazakhstan cooperation under the BRI framework, as well as learning about the "hub‑to‑hub" operation model of the China Railway Express and the prospects for future railway logistics development across the Eurasian continent.

Nie Fei, a representative of Shenglian Freight Collection, said that, thanks to Xi'an's policy advantages, domestic goods can be consolidated at the Kazakhstan Xi'an Terminal to lower logistics costs, turning the city into a logistics hotspot and constituting a major boost for enterprises going global.

The delegation then visited the Belt and Road Center for International Commercial Dispute Resolution (BRC-ICDR), which offers professional services for foreign‑related enterprises, including legal consultation sessions, special‑topic lectures, and other free activities.

The third stop of the visit, the Silk Road Hall at Central Asia Park, showcased the city's cultural power and how it is connecting tourism and education resources across Central Asia.

Matchmaking sessions on business travel and international education delivered first-hand information for enterprises intent on tapping into the Central‑Asian market. Representatives also learned about supply channels and business cooperation models, and engaged in exchanges with officials on commodity procurement and cultural‑tourism cooperation at the Silk Road Hall.

The event equipped enterprises with practical information on foreign‑related investment and helped them acquire a wealth of professional knowledge.

The city will continue to strengthen cooperation with mainstream media, build better bridges for government‑enterprise and international exchanges, and deliver thoughtful services for local enterprises going global.
